Tasting Notes: Fudge, Nutty, and Smooth from start to finish.

An organic and fair trade co-op called San Ignacio Rio Amoju grows this coffee where the Amazon River begins.

We have found that Peru coffees can hold their ground as a light, medium or dark roast. Here at Scribbles we prefer this Peru as a dark roast. We are always cautious on what a dark roast is. We stray away from over roasting or what some may call bold…. A lot of flavor can be dismissed if roasting isn’t taken as a true craft. This Peru is an excellent dark roast for those that don’t want that earthy bitter taste.
